Whether you are a community volunteer, service provider, concerned citizen or health professional, this workshop will help you respond to addiction needs in your community.
We’ll explore and discuss ...
• an overview of available programs and services
• substances and their effects
• the culture of alcohol use and related issues
• info session on fetal alcohol syndrome
• how to have a meaningful conversation about someone’s harmful involvement with drugs, alcohol and/or gambling
• how to support family members and others affected
