Homelessness Partnering Strategy Information Sessions

The delivery of the Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) Designated Communities funding for the Halifax Regional Municipality will be changing.

Service Canada is holding two sessions to explain the Community Entity (CE) model, present the selection criteria for a CE, its roles and responsibilities, as well as the role of the Community Advisory Board.

Through the CE model, a community body is given the responsibility of managing HPS funds in support of community priorities, coordinating the community planning process, and soliciting project proposals, among other things.

The Halifax Community Advisory Board for HPS anticipates the selection of a CE before April 1, 2012.
