ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training Course.

Communities Addressing Suicide Together is pleased to announce that we are hosting an ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training Course.

The ASIST workshop is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Over one million caregivers have participated in this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop.

Date: Thursday April 26 & Friday April 27, 2012, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Venue: First Baptist Church, 100 Ochterloney Street Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Instructors: Keith Brumwell & Michael Poworoznyk
Cost: $175.00
Limited bursaries are available for those with financial need. Pre-registration is required.
