Halifax Community Health Board is accepting applications to the Community Development Fund from qualified nonprofit and community based organizations.
Project funding for 2011 will focus on the following three priority areas from Our Healthy Future: A Community Health Plan for 2010-2013.
• Health inequities
• Mental health
• Sense of belonging
Halifax Community Health Board serves residents of Halifax peninsula and Fairview. Projects must take place in and serve residents of our area. Grants of up to $5,000 are available.
