Volunteers Needed. Help us make a difference!

The Halifax Regional Cerebral Palsy Association is a non-profit society that brings together people with CP, family, and friends who are passionate about building community.

The current executive of the society will no longer be able to serve in a leadership role due to other commitments and the society is now seeking out individuals in the broader community who would be interested in sharing their time and skills on the executive. We are currently seeking to fill all positions on the board and are at risk of dissolving if we cannot do so by July 31st.

We are ideally seeking someone with CP, someone who has a family member with CP, or a student/researcher. While a basic familiarity with CP would be an asset, it is certainly not required and we would welcome the opportunity to share our abilities.

The positions do not require a large time commitment and we do not expect you to take on any onerous fundraising initiatives. More then anything, we want to continue to have a social gathering once a month and not lose the sense of community we have built over the years.

If you are feeling a calling to our group or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from!
