Free Tobacco Intervention Program

Whether you want to stop or cut down, or are simply looking for reliable information about tobacco use, Capital Health offers free programs to help you.

The programs are run by trained professionals from Capital Health's Addiction Prevention and Treatment Services and are available to anyone living within the Capital Health District. (The district extends from Windsor to Sheet Harbour and includes the Halifax Regional Municipality.)

Our programs include the following:
· An opportunity to receive support from others who are experiencing the same thing you are
· Free nicotine patch or gum
· A positive personal message rather than a moral message to support your decision to not use tobacco

If you would like to take advantage of our programs, you must first attend a one-hour Getting Started Session. Please call Krystle at 424-2025 for more information.
